Lois Anvidalfarei was born in Badia, South Tyrol, in 1962. From 1976 to 1981, he attended the art school in Urtijëi in Val Gardena. From 1983 to 1989, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.

The recently transformed barn is now a versatile space utilized by the artist Lois Anvidalfarei as his own exhibition area and storage place for the plaster sculptures.
